Post-Graduation Work Permit
Post-Graduation Work Permit (PGWP):
The Post-Graduation Work Permit (PGWP) is a program under Canada’s immigration system that allows international students to work in Canada after completing their studies at a Designated Learning Institution (DLI). It is an open work permit, meaning you can work for any employer in Canada and gain valuable work experience that can count toward permanent residency (PR).
Overview of the Post-Graduation Work Permit
The Post-Graduation Work Permit (PGWP) allows international students who have completed a program of study at a designated Canadian learning institution to gain valuable Canadian work experience. The PGWP supports the transition to permanent residency by offering up to three years of work authorization.
