    Eligibility Requirements

    To qualify for a Super Visa, you must meet the following criteria:

    1. Relationship

    1. • Be the parent or grandparent of a Canadian citizen or a permanent resident of Canada.

    2. Invitation Letter

    • You must have an invitation letter from your child or grandchild that includes:
      1. • A promise of financial support for your stay.
      2. • Proof of their income meeting the Low-Income Cut-Off (LICO).
      3. • Details about their family size and a copy of their citizenship or permanent residency document.

    3. Medical Insurance

    • You must provide proof of:
      1. • Valid medical insurance from a Canadian insurance company.
      2. • Coverage for at least $100,000 CAD.
      3. • Policy valid for 1 year from your intended date of entry.

    4. Medical Examination

    1. • Undergo and pass a medical examination to ensure admissibility.

    5. Financial Requirements (LICO)

    • Your child or grandchild must meet or exceed the Low-Income Cut-Off (LICO) based on their family size. The income requirements (as of 2024) are approximately:

    Application Process
